7.1. Exam Structure and Question Types

Exam Format:

• Maximum 90 questions
• 90 minutes duration
• Passing: 720 out of 900
• Mix of multiple-choice and performance-based questions (PBQs)

Question Types:

• Multiple choice: Select one best answer
• Multiple response: Select all correct answers (specified how many)
• Performance-based: Simulations requiring configuration or troubleshooting

Strategy:

• Answer PBQs last (they take longer, can't be flagged)
• Flag uncertain questions for review
• Never leave questions blank—there's no penalty for guessing
