7. Makeup Application (7%)
At 7% of the exam, makeup application is the smallest content domain — about 5 questions. The exam focuses on foundational color theory, basic application knowledge, and — most importantly — the infection control standards specific to makeup services. Given the overall exam emphasis on safety, the infection control questions in this domain are the highest-yield.
