11. Conclusion

You have worked through eleven phases covering every domain the AB-730 exam tests: from the mechanics of how language models work, through prompts, chats and business content, to choosing the right agent and supervising Copilot Cowork as it carries out work on your behalf.

What this guide has built:

The goal was never to give you a list of facts to memorize. It was to give you mental models robust enough to reason through any scenario, including ones you have never seen before. If you understand why Copilot can fabricate (Phase 1), you can reason about any responsible AI question. If you understand the three levels of delegation (chat answers, agents specialize, Cowork acts), covered in Phase 2 and Phase 6, you can answer any "which experience should they use?" scenario, including the new agents domain.

Three things to carry into the exam:
  1. The human is always accountable. Any scenario about AI risk, verification, output quality or Cowork approvals resolves toward human review. The correct answer will always keep human judgment as the final layer, even when Copilot is doing the work.

  2. Specificity beats length. Any scenario about prompt quality resolves toward the GCSE framework: a clear goal, relevant context, an appropriate source and clear expectations, refined through follow-ups rather than more words.

  3. Features have distinct purposes. Save ≠ Schedule. Chat ≠ Agent ≠ Cowork. Prebuilt ≠ Custom. Recap ≠ Transcript. Pages ≠ Notebooks ≠ SharePoint. The exam tests these distinctions deliberately. When two options look similar, identify the functional difference (and any license, meeting type or admin setting it depends on) and match it to the scenario's requirement.

Good luck on the exam. The professionals who pass AB-730 aren't the ones who memorized the most feature names. They're the ones who genuinely understand how to use AI, and now AI that acts, responsibly and effectively in a business context. That is what this guide has prepared you to demonstrate.
