💡 First Principle: Identity is the foundation of security in cloud environments. Before any resource access decision can be made, the system must know who (or what) is requesting access and what they're permitted to do.

Scenario: Your organization is moving to Azure and needs to secure access for 5,000 employees, 200 applications, and numerous automated processes. Each requires a verified identity before accessing any Azure resource.
