3. AI Models, Configurations, and Workloads
This phase is the bridge between concepts and implementation. You'll learn enough about how generative AI models work to reason about their behavior, how to pick and configure the right model for a job, and the full menu of AI workloads the exam expects you to recognize on sight. Everything here pays off directly in Phases 4-6, where you build these workloads in Microsoft Foundry. Think of Phase 3 as learning the names and shapes of the tools before you pick them up.
